If is fine, though for recent discs that are “enhanced for 16 x 9.” It is a little heavier than some other players, particularly when the battery is in it.

The player, as a whole, though is excellent. The controls run along the bottom of the screen so that no matter which way the screen is flipped, they are accessible. It is a good portable player for the money. For a player that you are going to take with you or have in a variety of areas, this sturdy little player is just right. The one drawbacks seem to be the sound quality and the construction of some of the external accessory parts.
